How we work with chairs, governors, governing bodies and schools

As providers of a service to other chairs and governors, we will commit to the following:

  • To act in a professional way at all times

  • To provide a high quality service

  • To communicate with “clients” in a professional and timely fashion

  • To adhere to promised timescales and deadlines or, if not possible, to let the “client” know and offer a new timescale

  • To be open and transparent in our dealings with “clients”

  • To respect confidentiality

  • To work with other providers of services to GBs in a professional manner

As chairs and governors engaging with NLGs, we would ask you to commit to the following:

  • To communicate with us in a professional and timely fashion

  • To adhere to promised timescales and deadlines or, if not possible, to let the NLG know and offer a new timescale

  • To be open and transparent in dealings with the NLG

  • To respect confidentiality where appropriate

  • To respond in a professional manner to advice offered

  • To feedback if there are any problems in relation to the service or advice offered in a professional and timely manner
